2024  Polymer clay and wire on oak plinth

'A Small Part of Me' addresses social anxiety, and the associated problems encountered by those who 'wear a mask' in an attempt to 'fit in' when facing certain social situations. The flesh coloured polymer clay is fused with wire, emphasising tensions within, and symbolising an attempt to portray outer calm, whilst enduring inner stress.

'A Small Part of Me' was part of the group exhibition 'Art as a Response to Mental Health', June/July 2024 - Doncaster Art Fair.
